Ordering and sizing

How do I know what size to order?

Measure a shirt you already own — flat, across the chest, one inch below the armhole — and match that number on the size charts. It takes two minutes and it is the most reliable method there is. Between sizes, go up.

Can I return it if the size is wrong?

No — everything is printed to order, so there is nothing to restock. That is why we push the size charts so hard. If we got the order wrong, that is a different story and it is covered free — see returns.

Do you do crew or bulk orders?

Yes. Tell us roughly how many and what you are after and we will work something out. sales@altitudeiron.com.

Can I get a design on a different garment?

Usually. If you want a design that is on a tee put on a hoodie, or in a color we do not list, ask. Sometimes it is a five-minute change on our end.

Shipping

Why does it take a week?

Because it does not exist until you order it. Production runs 2–7 business days, then the carrier takes 3–5 days in the US. Full detail on the shipping page.

Where do you ship?

United States and Canada.

Will Express get it here faster?

A little. Express speeds up the carrier, not the printing. If you need it by a date, email us first and we will tell you honestly whether it will make it.

My order came in two boxes. Why?

Different products are made on different equipment, sometimes at different sites. Separate parcels, separate tracking, nothing wrong.

Do I pay duties in Canada?

Possibly — the carrier charges them on delivery and we cannot prepay or predict them.

The gear

Is the hi-vis stuff ANSI rated?

No. It is high-visibility color — bright fluorescent fabric, no retroreflective tape, no ANSI/ISEA rating. It will get you noticed in a yard or a parking lot. It will not satisfy a site that requires rated hi-vis. Check your PPE rules before you wear it on the clock. We would rather lose the sale than have you find that out from a foreman.

Are the stickers waterproof?

Depends which one. The small kiss-cut stickers are not rated waterproof — keep them on gang boxes, tool chests, laptops and truck interiors. The 3″×4″ vinyl decals are supplier-rated water, scratch and UV resistant — those are the ones for a back window or the outside of a box. Each product page says which it is.

Will the print crack?

Not if you wash it inside-out in cold and keep it out of a hot dryer. Heat is what kills prints. Full rundown on care instructions.

Where is it printed?

On demand, through our print partners in the US, on blanks from the same mills that supply the workwear industry. Blank origin is listed on individual product pages where the manufacturer requires it.
